Falling prices continued to play out on Italy’s market for recycled corrugated case material, with Italian grades seeing the biggest reductions. A few buyers also quoted price reductions over the past two months for white-top testliner.
While prices for brown kraftliner from the USA had been coming down in Italy for three months now, European grades were able to resist a bit longer. Expert reported “limited” reductions for European kraftliner deliveries in December, but buyer and sellers confirmed additional price cuts for January deliveries.
